Wednesday 10th June is Med Comms Day
where we recognise and celebrate all those who work in healthcare communications.
The Healthcare Communications Association is delighted to support this day, which is now in its ninth year.
This year, more than ever, it is important that we connect as a sector via social media, to break down the barriers of geographies and celebrate the increasingly important work we do. With fake news during this pandemic becoming even more prolific, and consequently dangerous, the work of healthcare communications professionals has never been more important to help ensure evidence-based communications reach those who need the information. Also, that these communications are clear and easily accessible for the audience they target.
What do you have to do to get involved?
Post anything relevant on social media
, adding the hashtags: #MedComms #TheHCA
Tell us about your day
, say hello to the healthcare communications sector across the world, share why you love working in the sector, provide some useful information or just make us laugh.
And thanks of course must go to Peter Llewellyn
for all the hard work and commitment that makes Med Comms day happen. www.medcommsday.com
