Following the success of the HCA Annual Conference in 2022, we are thrilled to announce the sessions for the 2023 HCA Annual Conference.

Where as last year the conference ran as 6 virtual sessions, this year we will now be running 2 hybrid events in June, with one taking place in London and the other in Manchester.

We have a series of inspiring speakers and topics lined up for you, all specially tailored for people working within healthcare communications. We will be exploring new thinking, stimulating debate and challenging previously held beliefs.

Communication in times of unprecedented change

Sign up here to join our hybrid London conference session as a virtual participant. We will be joined by Sir Jonathan Van-Tam sharing a key-note on ‘Communication Challenges and dilemmas during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic’ followed by Dr Ellie Cannon. A rich panel discussion will then diccuss what this all means for us as communicators today and beyond.

Inclusive and Accessible Communications

Sign up here to join our second conference session, on Tuesday 27th June, as a virtual participant, . We will be joined by a number of fantastic guest speakers including Sir Jonathan Van-Tam, ex-Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England, and experts such as Leicia Feare, Head of Communications - Inequalities Improvement at NHS England; Natalie Darko, Director of Inclusion - NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre, Pritesh Mistry, The King’s Fund and Alison Jones, Director of Cancer Commissioning and Early Diagnosis at Cancer Alliance. All will be considering inclusive and accessible communications from a number of different perspectives.
