Following the recent highly informative Shared Experience meeting, where Karen Cheeseman from the PrivacyTrust provided insights into the new
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), members can now download Karen’s slides and speakers notes from the
members' resource centre. Members can also watch Karen’s full presentation via our new Virtual Conference Centre.
Attendance at Shared Experience meetings and access to the Virtual Conference Centre is free and only available to HCA members.
To access the new Virtual Conference Centre:
- Go to the HCA website and login to the members area in the normal way
- In the MEMBERS AREA drop down tab you will see the option VIRTUAL EVENTS
- From the VIRTUAL EVENTS page, choose the event you want to view
- The first time you visit, you will need to register separately for the VCC, using your email and by creating a new password. This new password will be for the VCC ONLY and will not affect your login details for the HCA website
The VCC will show only the upfront presentations from our Shared Experience events. They will not contain the Q&A and discussions from these events which provide deeper and more personal insights to the topics. So, it is still best to attend the events themselves to gain the most comprehensive understanding of the topic. However, if you are unable to attend, the VCC the HCA website will help all members keep up-to-date.
