Jane Symons: Vice Chair Medical Journalists’ Association
Jane Symons is a prolific freelance health writer and media consultant whose credits range from The Sun to the World Health Organisation. She is a regular contributor to the Daily Express and Mirror, edited the health pages of The Sun for five years and was health editor of Woman’s Own for two. She has also written for a broad range of national titles including The Times, Telegraph, Daily Mail, Sunday Express, Women’s Health and Woman and Home. In addition to journalism, Jane writes content for  pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, has edited reports for charities and provides media strategy and training. Jane has written several pregnancy books including How to Have a Baby and Still Live in the Real World, which have been published  in the UK, USA, Europe and Russia.
