Molecule to Marketing, An Introduction to Healthcare Communications

General information
****Newly adapted for delivery by virtual training whilst maintaining its quality content and delegate interactivity, workshops and discussion***

This course will take place over two mornings, 28th and 29th April, 10am to 1.30pm

Facilitated by Harry Brady, Communications and Policy Director at MSD UK.

The HCA 'Molecule to Marketing' course provides attendees with a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practicalities of healthcare communications.  Aimed at both agency and in-house personnel, the new virtual course comprises two consecutive half days, but still with a mix of theory and practical sessions, with expert speakers online to impart advice and provide guidance.

The course includes a review of how medicines come to market, input from senior pharma managers, and insights into how communications and stakeholder activity adds value to the mix before and after launch.

A major element of the programme is practical, with online breakout workshops allowing delegates to work together in small teams to solve some classic communications challenges and develop creative solutions.

The event is suitable for anyone in their first communications role or those working alongside PR and medical education colleagues who wish to gain ‘real world’ insight into what can be gained from effective and engaging communications activities.

Speakers include the following:
  • Harry Brady, Communications and Policy Director at MSD UK
  • Laura Spowart, Medical Advisor, MSD
  • Chris Bath, Director, Aurora
  • Gary Duncan, International Marketing Director, Jazz Pharmaceuticals
