Molecule to Marketing, An Introduction to Healthcare Communications

General information

Hosted by Claire Brough and Edel McCaffrey from GSK Global Communications.
Other speakers include:  Dr Pim Kon, VP and UK Medical Director, GSK, and Neil Falkingham, Respiratory Franchise Supply Chain Lead, GSK.

Attended by over 300 delegates to date, the HCA 'Molecule to Marketing' course provides attendees with a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practicalities of healthcare communications.  Aimed at both agency and in-house personnel, the full day’s course comprises a dynamic mix of theory and practical sessions, with expert speakers on hand to impart advice and provide guidance.

A major element of the programme is practical, with hands-on workshops allowing delegates to work together in small teams to solve some classic communications challenges and develop creative solutions that are then presented back to a judging panel.  The course includes a review of how medicines come to market, case study presentations and a talk from a senior pharma marketer.

The event is suitable for anyone in their first communications role or those working alongside PR and medical education colleagues who wish to gain ‘real world’ insight into what can be gained from effective and engaging communications activities.

The cost of attending this meeting includes: handouts, certificate of attendance, refreshments and lunch.
