This course comprises 2 x three and half hour virtual sessions with up to 30 minutes home preparation required in between the sessions (6 CPD credits) Course Dates: Virtual sessions held 9.45 – 13:30 hrs (UK Time) 13th and 14th October 2021 Facilitated by Harry Brady, Executive Director, International Vaccines Public Policy at MSD UK. The HCA 'Molecule to Marketing' course provides attendees with a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practicalities of healthcare communications. Aimed at both agency and in-house personnel, the course comprises a dynamic mix of theory and practical sessions, with expert speakers on hand to impart advice and provide guidance. The course includes a review of how medicines come to market, a talk from a senior pharma marketer, and insights into how communications and stakeholder activity adds value to the mix before and after launch. A major element of the programme is practical, with a hands-on workshop allowing delegates to work together in small teams to solve some classic communications challenges and develop creative solutions. The event is suitable for anyone in their first communications role or those working alongside PR and medical education colleagues who wish to gain ‘real world’ insight into what can be gained from effective and engaging communications activities.
