In conversation with David Kyne, Communiqué’s Healthcare Communiquétor of the Year
A unique opportunity to hear from the Healthcare Communiquétor of the Year recipient about his important work in global health, including more recently motivating a global movement to help stop future pandemics, as well as his insights into the future of our sector and what we need to be doing to stay relevant.
During David’s more than 20 years career, he has advised clients ranging from global non-governmental organisations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and The Carter Center, to a range of biopharmaceutical companies and patient run advocacy organisations. David was a co-founder of the Pandemic Action Network, a recently established global advocacy initiative working to ignite a global movement to help accelerate an end to the COVID-19 pandemic and stop future pandemics.
In conversation with Annabelle Sandeman, Global Head of Commercial Strategy, Huntsworth plc, David will share some of his insights into what makes an influential communiquetor, the future of our sector, the important role of NGOs and the challenges that still remain for this pandemic and how we can work to stop future pandemics.
Communiqué judges’ comments: “David has a significant global reach and a heartfelt engagement in public health education and intervention in the developing world. He is a principled, respected and accomplished figure, going way beyond the day job, whilst building the reputation of the industry. Most notably recently being a founding member of the Pandemic Action Network – which was generated as a direct result of COVID-19.”
