Briefing with Rachel Moss, Reporter, HuffPost UK

General information
Come and meet Rachel Moss, Reporter, HuffPost UK, who will be speaking at our next Journalist Briefing, 9-11am, on Wednesday 31st October.

Rachel has worked at HuffPost UK for almost five years, covering Health alongside a vast array of topics for the site's Lifestyle section.

As well as reporting breaking health news, delivering the latest medical breakthroughs to readers in easy-to-digest formats, she covers longer lead health features with people at the heart, speaking to those affected by illness, plus those campaigning for improvements in treatment. A typical week could start with news on a new migraine drug, continue with a feature on access to emergency contraception, then end speaking to cancer patients about their personal experiences of treatment.

Rachel has been a leading voice in reporting the vaginal mesh scandal, interviewing MPs, campaigners and those who've suffered life-changing complications, also exposing under-reported side effects of hernia mesh. Alongside such exclusives, she produces evergreen articles explaining the signs and symptoms of illnesses and what readers may expect from treatment.

Mental health remains a prominent element of HuffPost UK's health coverage and is an area Rachel is personally passionate about. She was part of HuffPost's agenda-setting mental health campaign Young Minds Matter, which was guest edited by HRH The Duchess of Cambridge in 2016.
