General information

Watch back the launch of the HCA’s new Evaluation Value Proposition.

The HCA first published guidance relating to evaluation in communication activities over 20 years ago. Whilst the world and our industry has significantly changed, the importance of this topic remains, as do the challenges and barriers to implementation.

This Evaluation Value Proposition has been developed by a working group representing industry and agency, following qualitative research which is published in the December issue of PME. The Evaluation Value Proposition outlines the HCA’s views around the importance of evaluation and provides a simple model to aid implementation. It is intended to provide everyone who is involved in health communications with a useful guide to measurement and evaluation and to act as a catalyst for discussions between all stakeholders.

The panel comprises members of the working group who will outline the research findings and explain and discuss the content and how to use the Evaluation Value Proposition to benefit your communications activity, as well as the sector as a whole.
