Understanding the lived experience of patients: Artificial intelligence vs human insight

Monday 13th October – 12:30pm UK time

Virtual Session

The pace of adoption of artificial intelligence (AI)-based technology is accelerating exponentially. The perceived opportunity for streamlining and enhancing productivity is changing how healthcare businesses operate in every way.

At the same time our industry is finally recognising the critical importance of working with patients to inform decision-making from the beginning to the end of the product lifecycle. So how will these two trends connect? Could AI generate meaningful patient insights that will eventually replace the need to engage with patients directly? Or do we still need input from the real lived experience of people?

The aim of this webinar is to explore the risks, limitations and opportunities of using AI to gather patient insights so we can make better informed choices about how to utilise these technologies in pharma and healthcare programmes.
