HCA’s New Social Media Guidance
General information
This virtual meeting will include the launch of the HCA’s new Social Media Guidance (UK code) for Pharmaceutical Company Employees, Associated UK Agencies and their Staff. Initially exploring some the more interesting recent code cases, the presenter will then focus in on a wide range of upheld code cases covering a number of different social media platforms. We will then introduce the HCA’s new guidance designed to help individuals working in pharmaceutical sector understand their responsibilities in their personal or corporate posts.
Introduced by Mike Dixon, HCA CEO
Presenter: Andy Bennett, Compliance Hub
With a passion for compliance and a broad base of knowledge and experience, Andy’s career has focussed on controllerships and governance across multiple industries including the NHS and 3 major pharmaceutical companies. His last role was Head of Ethics and Compliance at Boehringer Ingelheim, operating under ABPI, IPHA and NOAH codes of practice. Andy’s experience includes process governance and standard operating procedures, and responsibilities included process mapping, compliance committees, training programmes, disclosure and activity monitoring. The Compliance Hub, where Andy now works, provides creative compliance solutions to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries and has supported the HCA in developing the new Social Media Guidance being launched at this event.
