Description:
For the past two decades, the pursuit of precision has transformed cancer care — delivering treatments that are smarter, more targeted, and increasingly personal.
Yet important questions remain. Why do people with the same diagnosis respond so differently? Why do side effects vary so widely? What are we still missing about the people behind the data?
This hybrid session will explore the next frontier in precision oncology: understanding the human factors that shape how cancer develops, progresses, and responds to treatment. It will look at the biological, behavioural, and social variables still underrepresented in cancer research and care — and how clinical, communications, and policy approaches can work together to close these gaps and drive lasting change.
A thought-provoking and practical session for anyone working in healthcare communications, policy, or oncology — followed by networking and refreshments.
