The Patient Partnership Index is a ground-breaking initiative that was launched in 2020 by OVID Health to showcase, benchmark, and evaluate the quality of partnerships between patient groups and pharmaceutical or biotech companies – driving improvements across the sector.
Now in its fourth year, the Index has evolved and adapted to become simpler for organisations to enter. Its reach has increased year-on-year thanks to adaptations to our marketing and targeting new audiences.
Entries are invited from across the life sciences sector, requiring a short introduction, case study and testimonial from their partner organisation. They are evaluated by our panel of judges, including representatives from the ABPI and health charity CEOs. The Patient Partnership Index is free to enter, and its best examples are shared widely through an Insights report. It provides companies with a great hook to celebrate – internally and externally – the success of their partnerships and the impact they are making for patients.
Hear Jenny Ousbey, CEO & Founder of OVID Health and Chair of judges for the Patient Partnership Index, talk about how the Index was created and how OVID Health has overcome challenges along the way, plus fresh Insights from this year’s judging session. She will be joined by Cathy Yelf, CEO of the Macular Society, and Tori Griffiths, Public Affairs Partner, Roche Products Limited, talk about their experience of entering the PPI and the value it has brought.
