The Future of Nudge Marketing in HCP Communications

General information

The Future of Nudge Marketing in HCP Communications

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 2pm, Monday 28th June

NOTE: Attendee delegate weblink will be sent out the night before.

DESCRIPTION

Behavioural science has become increasingly relevant in the field of healthcare communications. In recent years we’ve seen the adoption of nudge marketing as a strategy in public health interventions and to combat issues such as treatment non-adherence. Should we expect HCPs to become experts in behavioural science techniques? Can the pharma industry compliantly employ nudge marketing when engaging with HCPs? What role does health data and targeting have to play in communications? These and other questions will be explored by a panel of experts bringing a range of perspectives from the clinical, consumer and pharma settings.

Panel members:

  • Phil Graves, Consumer Behaviour Consultant: Author, columnist, and leading expert on consumer psychology, Phil has worked with a number of high-profile organisations, including Innocent, John Lewis, HSBC and Adobe, as well as communications agencies and pharmaceutical companies. Phil will be moderating discussions and sharing his own perspective
  • Dr Arya M Sharma, MD, DSc (hon), FRCPC: Professor Emeritus and Past-Chair in Obesity Research and Management at the University of Alberta in Canada. He was also Clinical Co-Chair of the Alberta Health Services Obesity Program and founder of Obesity Canada (formerly Canadian Obesity Network), a network of over 10,000 obesity researchers, health professionals and other stakeholders
  • Melanie Sobczyk (PhD), Global Medical Affairs Director, Novartis: Combining both pharma and agency experience, Melanie has a firm grasp of the potential benefits of behavioural science within healthcare, particularly given her previous role as Head of Behavioural Science (BSci) Unit, for the 90TEN Group
  • Mark Lakeram (PhD) 90TEN: Mark serves as Group Director, Head of Behavioural Science at 90TEN, where he leads the development and implementation of behavioural science across all divisions. Mark is also a published fiction author who brings his creative storytelling flair into his work to create something different and memorable.

This session is kindly sponsored by 90TEN and Makara Health.
