What actually goes on in-house? How do communications and marketing work together?
The HCA Client Insights Forum was a new initiative in 2012, which saw great attendance and plenty of engaging debate and discussion. This year, the event builds on the successful formula of the previous two events, with an added new dimension, in the form of a medic turned marketer.
On
Thursday 2nd May, we will be holding our third event that promises to give health communications agency staff the chance to get further insights on the priorities and needs of pharmaceutical clients. The discussion will provide a snapshot of a client’s working day, cross-functional working, areas of joint responsibility, the changing pressures in-house teams are under, evolving business needs as well as the things they like to see from agencies (and the things that they don't). The Forum will take the format of a panel that covers some core items, followed by questions and answers from the floor – all in an informal and relaxed setting.
The panel for this forum includes:
- Claire Brough, GSK (Global Communications)
- Dr Rob Chipperfield, MSD (UK Marketing)
- Neil Falkingham, Respiratory Franchise Supply Chain Lead, GSK
- Dr Pim Kon, VP and UK Medical Director, GSK
- Emma Lynn, Pfizer (UK Communications)
The discussion and Q&A will be facilitated by
Andrew Thomas, Head of International Health, Red Door Communicationswho has held agency and in-house roles.
This session will then be followed by drinks and nibbles, an opportunity to network with other agency and in-house communicators.
This event will take place at
6.00-8.30pm, on Thursday 2nd May 2013.
