Whether you are leading, presenting, or just attending a virtual meeting, the more presence you have the more you will be listened to, the more you will be remembered, the more impact you will have. With presence you can motivate and inspire your listeners, you can be encouraging and inclusive and facilitate collaborative team working. Yet presence is so hard to achieve virtually. The two-dimensional virtual environment lacks the human warmth and energy of people in a room, nuances of human interaction are lost, and we are deprived of the usual cues of communication. The experience can be energy sapping for everyone and communication is often flattened.
But all this can be overcome! In this webinar, Achieving Zoom Presence, we will look at how to rise to the challenge of achieving Zoom Presence and how to be the person everyone will listen to from the first word to the last.
Helpful tips will be given on the following:
- Posture and body language
- Camera angles, lighting and backgrounds
- Eye contact and camera techniques
- Vocal vitality: maintaining attention with colour and energy
- Movement
- Focus, clarity and brevity in your words
- Mental and physical preparation, maintaining composure and energy levels
