Members can now see (below) a summary of the findings of the 2012-2013 HCA Benchmarking Survey, in which 27 member agencies and consultancies participated.
Times are still challenging for healthcare communications consultancies, as client budgets continue to fall, resulting in further pressure to discount fees. Competition for new business is tougher than ever, with consultancies facing the on-going challenge of mounting effective responses to RfIs and RfPs whilst managing existing client work. Two key trends that were exposed in this year’s survey were the continued diversification of activities conducted by healthcare communications consultancies and the shift towards more project work.
Participating member agencies have already seen a full report on the findings as well as each receiving an individual report with their own company’s data benchmarked against key charts. We would like to thank all those who took part.
